Powher: Pre-Workout Supplement for Women | Review – Information – Conclusions

powher-pre-workout-supplement-for-women

I would say you never make a mistake even by only looking at this package. A pink luxury powder, in a simple but impressive package, verifies the initial “guess”.

This is the Powher, a pre-workout supplement exclusively for women.

Here we are, this is the topic of today’s article.

Women, certainly more than men, love their body and wish to have the best image possible.

No extra kilos and fats, strong and ribbed muscles, endurance, vitality and health.

A youthful body, always ready for adventure.

The problem, especially for women – is that muscle rebuilding is more difficult compared to what happens with the male body. A matter of nature, a genetic matter.

Having said this, it’s obvious that higher effort and perseverance are necessary to achieve the bodyline they are dreaming of, while eliminating the excess body fat.

Here, the Powher supplement comes, offering a solution designed for the complex female body, targeting the most “difficult” points of a woman’s body:

  • fat loss from the body’s fat stores
  • increase of energy
  • appetite control and suppression of overeating episodes
  • higher focus
  • physical strength and endurance increase (for more dynamic training)

Therefore, is it true when we say that a woman needs a different “line of attack” to get the perfect body?

Yes. A different diet is necessary along with a different exercise and surely a different Pre-Workout supplement.

Now, we wonder, is Powher the female supplement you are looking for?

Powher –What it is

A product of Ultimate Life LTD, the Pre-Workout Supplement Powher, sums up the knowledge of an organism’s needs for dynamic and essential training, incorporating the biology of the female body.

The result is a pink booster powder (for pre-workout training) in the company’s typical pink package.

Ultimate Life LTD – a company with prestige and “mother” of many other well-known and successful nutritional supplements such as, the female fat burner LeanBean, based in England, follows strictly the GMP & FDA rules (being the holder of certifications).

Powher is an easy-to-use and digestible supplement, in powder form, aiming mainly at boosting energy levels for better training.

It also boosts metabolism to higher fat burning (leading to energy savings as mentioned above) and enhancing muscle rebuilding, toning, strengthening, and certainly the muscle ribbing.

Lower in caffeine than the similar “male” pre-workouts, not causing side effects (nervousness, insomnia, stomach pain, nausea, headache) in the sensitive female body.

Powher – Ingredients

ingredients-powher-power-endurance-supplement

Prior to starting examining the ingredients and analyzing them in terms of their action, it is important to refer to their quality.

All active ingredients found in this supplement are of natural origin, with no chemical impurities, of the highest quality and certified action.

Powher’s ingredients are given in ratios suitable to give maximum results without creating side effects.

Finally, we have to mention that the powder formula of Powher is the result of extensive research. In fact, the final formula of the product – finalized after long research and improvement, offers specifically to the female body what’s needed, containing an innovative / original mixture making the difference.

Below, we see the ingredients contained at their respective ratios:

  • Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCl) 10 mg / 500% of RDD (Recommended Daily Dosage – RDD)
  • Vitamin B12 (as Cyanocobalamin) 50 mcg / 833% of RDD
  • Pantothenic Acid (as Chromium D-Pantothenate) 10 mg / 100% of RDD
  • Taurine 2.5 mg
  • L-Citrulline Malate 2g
  • Beta-Alanine 1 g
  • RedNite® (Beta vulgaris) (root) 500 mg
  • Lysine (as L-Lysine HCl) 500 mg
  • L-Tyrosine 500 mg
  • Coconut Water Powder (freeze dried) 500 mg
  • OxyJun® (Terminalia arjuna) (bark) 400 mg
  • EnExtra® (Alpinia galanga) (rhizomes) 300 mg
  • Natural Caffeine (from Green Coffee bean) 100 mg

Also included: dextrose monohydrate, pigments, silicon dioxide, sucralose, sodium chloride.

While the entire composition finds me in agreement (and more precisely excited), I have, though, a slight disagreement over a minor detail.

More specifically, concerning the artificial sweetener sucralose, contained (which in my opinion could be avoided or replaced with a natural sweetener such as stevia).

However, the other (active) ingredients of the mixture (being the most important point we must focus our attention on) seem to maintain an ideal combination with each other, but also in correct amounts to give tangible results.

A more detailed look at each ingredient provides more help to understand this supplement’s action.

B Complex Vitamins (B6 & B12)

Reduce the feeling of fatigue, increase the available energy (for the best athletic performance and not only), enhance the elimination of toxins from the organism, promote the metabolism of sugars, fight fluid retention and bloating.

They also enhance good physical, mental and mental health, promote good mood and increase self-confidence.

RedNite® (Beta vulgaris)

A trademarked ingredient, extracted from beets (mainly), extremely rich in natural nitrate,  practically giving 10 times more antioxidant protection to the organism.

OxyJun® (Terminalia arjuna)

Another commercially available ingredient produced from the bark of a tree (specifically the Termninalia Arjuna tree).

It has undergone numerous clinical trials and tests in humans, proving beneficial action as an antioxidant as well as a natural stimulant.

This being the reason for using it in Pre-Workout supplements providing energy as a top priority.

EnExtra® (Alpinia galanga)

A commercially available ingredient, a mixture of 3 natural extracts (Cymbopogon Flexuosus, Alpinia Galanga & Glycyrrhiza Glabra), one of the most crucial elements of Powher’s formula.

Belongs to premium ingredients, found only in a minimum number of nutritional supplements, including Powher, the Pre-Workout supplement for women.

Works in combination with caffeine, as it enhances its action by providing huge amounts of energy.

However, the remarkable thing here is the fact that prevents any known side effects of caffeine to the organism.

Therefore, though the user will experience a huge boost of energy, will never feel any headaches, palpitations or insomnia.

L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine is an amino acid, playing a role in the production of neurotransmitters of significant importance to the organism (such as dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine).

Promotes good brain function, stimulates focus, sharpens observation and concentration and helps in improving the mood, fighting oxidative stress.

Coconut Water Powder

One of the most popular healthy sport drinks of our time, an absolute trend. Its sweet taste is very pleasant but also very refreshing.

Nevertheless, its great quality is characterized by the high number of electrolytes naturally contained, working ideally in the organism, following an intense workout for fighting dehydration.

Besides, it works as an excellent appetite suppressant, an isotonic drink and as a blood pressure balancer.

Taurine

Taurine is a very powerful antioxidant, a member of the family of amino acids, produced not only by the organism, but also received via the diet (meat & fish).

Found in the brain, in large quantities, acts as a powerful energy tonic. You will also find it in many well-known energy drinks for the same reason.

Increases energy and fights fatigue immediately, giving a better “start up”.

L-Citrulline Malate

Amino acid, especially popular in Pre-Workout supplements, has a positive effect on athletic performance, being extremely important for those (men and women) wishing to build muscle. Promotes muscle recovery after hard training, delays the onset of muscle fatigue (giving useful time to training) and promotes the release of anabolic hormones in the organism.

Beta-Alanine

Another member of the amino acids family, but not one of those 9 essential for the organism. It is widely used in energy boosting supplements, while studies have confirmed that it can significantly reduce the feeling of physical fatigue during aerobic training, especially in women.

Lysine (as L-Lysine HCl)

Last, but also most important ingredient is lysine, an amino acid playing a key role in the body’s protein synthesis and certainly in muscle rebuilding.

Especially for people following a vegetarian / vegan diet who need support / supplementation of this important amino acid from a dietary supplement.

Lysine helps – among others – in better absorption of calcium, while actively contributes to production of important enzymes, hormones and antibodies in the organism.

Powher composition – conclusion: Contains very interesting ingredients (in very good ratios), while no reports of side effects are presented. The high quality ingredients of Powher combined, create a very dynamic formula promising real physical benefits.

Powher – Taste

powerful-energy-booster-for-women-working-out

Especially in powder supplements (like most pre-workout supplements) a very important factor in its selection is its taste.

Unfortunately – and this is a fact – most of the products found in the market have a disgusting or even annoying taste, making their consumption very difficult and undesirable.

Unlike most supplements, Powher supplement has a very good and pleasant taste of pink Lemonade (Pink Lemonade).

I believe that the addition of the sweetener sucralose has also played a role in this, for highlighting the taste of the homemade pink lemonade, we all have in mind and drink so easily.

Unfortunately – so far – the company does not provide any extra flavor, however, we hope for new flavors in the future.

Even practically, in preparing the shake, we were very satisfied with the Powher supplement. Add the pink powder in the appropriate amount of water (10 grams of pink powder in 250 ml of water) and mix well.

The pink powder dissolved very easily (even by simple mixing with a spoon), simplifying the preparation of the drink even when you are away from home and have only one shaker with you.

Directly, mixing the powder with the water, a pleasant sweet lemon scent comes out in the space, creating a pleasant mood. The water immediately takes on an intense dark pink / red color making your energy drink even more impressive and delicious.

Instructions for Use

According to manufacturers of Powher, it should be -ideally- administered about 30 minutes before training, so to act and deliver the desired energy stimulation.

The time mentioned above, however, is indicative (calculated on average).

The administration time may vary for each person.

Following 2-3 uses of the supplement, you will be able to determine the right time for administration, in case you need to speed it up or slow it down for a few minutes.

However, even if you find a short time deviation, this will only be for a few minutes. These supplements are so designed, having a specially formulated composition, being absorbed almost immediately by the organism and delivering fast energy benefits.

What Makes Powher Different From Other Pre-Workout Supplements?

  • It is only for women. One of the few supplements that focus their action according to the needs of the female organism and body, as being different from those of a man.
  • Has a very pleasant taste. The taste of pink lemonade prepared by the company is probably the most pleasant surprise I have ever tasted in an energy drink. Sweet, fruity and very interesting. It sets your mood almost immediately.
  • Low in caffeine. It may not sound important, but people sensitive to caffeine (and not a few), are desperately looking for a workout supplement not causing any side effects.

Apart from the fact that Powher contains not a high concentration of caffeine, it also contains a mixture of proprietary ingredients (the mixture EnExtra® / Alpinia galanga) reducing the effects of caffeine in the organism.

So, finally the sleepless nights, the nervous extremities, the difficulty of concentrating your thoughts and the mood swings, are over for good.

  • Complemented by a complete range of training supplements for women. Ultimate Life LTD. has provided and made available a complete range of nutritional supplements aiming specifically at women wishing to “work” their body, improve it and keep it healthy / strong / youthful / and active.

The supplements completing the Powher range (except Powher Pre-Workout for Women) are:

  • Powher Fat Burner for Women
  • Powher Sleep Support for Women
  • Powher Advanced Nootropic

These supplements combined, can let your healthier self “shine” and greatly improve your quality of life.

How could one avoid an Energy Crash?

pre-workout-pill-against-energy-crash-burnout

By the term “energy crash” we mean the effect of caffeine in the organism. In other words – to make it clearer – energy crash includes all these problems faced from caffeine receipt.

However, choosing the Pre-Workout Powher supplement, you do not need to do anything at all, as contains the proprietary and patented EnExtra® / Alpinia galanga blend, as well as the active natural ingredient Taurine, drastically enhancing the available energy, while on the other hand eliminating all side effects of the energy crash that might occur as natural reaction of the organism.

At the same time – these ingredients – enhance the ability to focus and concentrate, by promoting a better training experience.

Why Powher does not contain Creatine?

Let’s first see what creatine is and what it offers to body training and more.

It is undoubtedly one of the most popular legal nutritional supplements in the field of sports in general and muscle rebuilding (bodybuilding) in particular.

Creatine administration as a training booster is associated with increased intramuscular creatine (PCr) availability and therefore with much faster Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) energy production.

Creatine can be obtained as an ingredient via various foods (such as meat, fish, dairy and seafood), but athletes tend to take it through special supplements (even in high concentrations).

Creatine supplementation in the organism via such supplements increases the provision of ATP energy and therefore enhances muscle strength and endurance, athletic performance and physical endurance during the training process.

Research also shows that creatine is largely associated with an increase in muscle (lean) body volume, as well as a decrease in fat volume respectively.

Finally, and equally important, it promotes protein synthesis in the organism, creating food for existing muscle cells and promoting the formation of new muscle cells.

Used mainly by men (in the majority of athletes), but it is not excluded that female athletes use it as an energy supplement for their training.

Experts set a normal intake of 20 to 25 grams per day (usually taken in 4 doses of about 5 grams) in the Bulking phase that lasts about 1 week, while the intake is reduced to 2 to 5 grams per day for a period of 3 to 4 weeks during the maintenance phase.

However, creatine as a supplement has been associated with some side effects such as:

  • fluid retention
  • stomach disorders
  • gastrointestinal disorders
  • muscle cramps
  • dehydration
  • renal impairment
  • even weight gain

These side effects are the main reason for Powher’s company selecting not to include creatine in the ingredients of its own supplement, regardless of this ingredient’s popularity in sports.

As the Powher supplement contains other ingredients to boost energy and increase a person’s athletic strength, it was decided to avoid creatine to prevent bloating, fluid retention and weight gain that can occur (especially in women who are  more sensitive as an organism).

Powher – Really Effective?

powher-effective-product-for-her

It is true that just “reading” a single label of ingredients one can never understand all the benefits of a dietary supplement as no appropriate knowledge of biochemistry is available to each person.

However – and in the opinion of our team experts – this is a very interesting supplement with an innovative composition containing all the right ingredients to get the training help you are looking for.

Especially the patented proprietary ingredients that the company included in Powher’s formula, are a very interesting and intriguing addition, making us desire to try it and test it.

Though we have not been able to find much information about these new patented blends of ingredients, our interest in the pink Powher supplement really remains undiminished.

I have to admit that I was really sold on its sweet and sour taste and the strong citrus aroma.

What are the Pros & Cons?

PROS

  • company with prestige
  • easy to use
  • low caffeine content
  • contains interesting patented mixtures of ingredients
  • many training benefits
  • high muscle benefits
  • high amounts of energy
  • energy for longer period (compared to known stimulants)

Powher – A personal Conclusion

I believe that the pre-workout supplement especially for women with the brand name Powher is a safe choice for every woman working out and feeling the need for extra energy support for her workouts.

Lack of caffeine is an additional factor that – I personally – count on the pros of the supplement, as my work schedule only allows me to work out in the evening (and I have always had the problem of hypertension and insomnia after using various pre-workout supplements) .

However, despite the small energy crash caused by Powher, I suggest you do not take it late at night if you are sensitive. I prefer to take the maximum dose late in the afternoon when I have an evening workout.

Still, the fact that it is a bit low in citrulline is something that finds me against it, however I cannot say that I faced a training problem, nor that I was dissatisfied with the boosting results of the supplement.

In addition, I really liked coconut water, as it has always been my favorite electrolyte for my workouts.

Finally, I would love to try the other products in the Powher line and see for myself if they really bring health benefits to my organism, mind and soul.

I also hope for new flavors of the product, which will give me the opportunity to change the taste so that I do not feel bored trying the same taste all the time.
