Kaitlin has been an athlete her entire life, swimming to a school record, a conference title and multiple top 10 times at a Division 1 school. She graduated from American University with degrees in business management and visual media. Post college, Kaitlin continued to swim and coach at one of the top Masters swim teams in NYC. Looking to explore other types of fitness and fulfill her competitive spirit, Kaitlin began Spartan obstacle course races, qualifying for the world championships in 2015. Her passion for coaching and teaching fitness stems from watching others push their comfort zones and accomplish more than they expect, not only in the studio or the pool, but in everyday life. Kaitlin also works as an eCommerce and digital marketer, having worked at startups and global luxury brands.
What Uplifts her? Spending time with best friends who don't live in the same cities. It's easy to keep up with people through social media but there's nothing better than a real conversation and the making of new memories. Also, realizing age is just a number, especially in fitness. Watching people in their 70s, 80s and even 90s still compete at swim meets is so inspiring!
Her guilty pleasure? Letting the dog sleep under the covers and craft beer IPAs.
